The BELTA team was overjoyed to start the week with notification of a £1500 grant from local charity Chalk Cliff.
As many know, the BELTA team has been working hard to repair and replace appliances in the community centre that are unsuitable or no longer fit for purpose. While longer-term plans have included refurbishing the community room and kitchen, Covid 19 has brought a new urgency to this planned work, we have needed suitable appliances to store donated and prepared food.
The grant will enable BELTA to purchase much-needed equipment. During Covid 19 and as lockdown eases we know that residents on the estate will benefit from a functional and properly equipped community kitchen space. On behalf of the community we would like to thank Chalk Cliff
